Building a Pole Barn – Installing the Purlins

The next step in building our pole barn is to install the purlins on the sidewalls. These are used to attach the metal to the barn. I am using 2″x6″ lumber spaced 3′ apart and attaching these purlins to the poles using screws and metal plates for durability in high winds.
