Belmont Farms – also known as Belmont Park – is located on the northeast corner of Kelly and Coffee Creek in north Edmond. It currently features approximately 380 residents and home ownership is nearly 100% – in other words very few if any rented homes in the neighborhood. It features walking and jogging trails, a neighborhood pool and pond, and easy access to Coffee Creek and Mitch Park YMCA. My husband James and I regularly ride our bicycles through Belmont Farms on our way to Mitch Park or downtown Edmond. The median home price is around $350,000 and the price per square foot is around $115.
Commuting to work is fairly easy from Belmont Farms. It is a quick drive 4-lane lighted Kelly Avenue to Broadway Extension and then to downtown OKC – about a 20 minute commute most days. You can also go south one mile to Covell and then east to I-35 to bypass downtown OKC traffic on your way to Tinker Air Force Base or north to Stillwater and Oklahoma State University.
Schools are Edmond North High School, Cheyenne middle school and Crosstimbers elementary school.
