I was born in east Chicago and lived a variety of places before settling in the Oklahoma City area at age 12. I met my husband James in high school and we married a few years later. We now have two grown children; Emily, a graduate from the Art Institute of Dallas in graphic design, and Adam, a Business Management student at the University of Central Oklahoma.
My husband James and I love adventure, and have been fortunate enough to travel extensively throughout the United States and several other countries. We like to travel off the beaten path. Whether it is riding dirt bikes in the mountains of eastern Oklahoma, kayaking in the Pacific Ocean, swimming with seals in Australia, or flying our airplane to remote wilderness strips in Idaho, we enjoy exploring unusual, hard to reach places. I am fortunate enough to truly enjoy my work in real estate. Since becoming an agent in November, 2003, my business has grown substantially. In 2005 I was awarded The Most Cooperative Spirit award for my office and in 2006 I made the RE/MAX Executive Club. In 2007 and 2008 I've been in the top 5 realtors in production at RE/MAX Associates, joining the RE/MAX 100% club. In 2008 I was also elected to the Edmond Board of Realtors. This is a result of a lot of hard work and a strong dedication to happy customers, who in return refer their friends and family to me when they need to buy or sell their home.
I now have a team of people who help me manage my growing customer base, maintain website development, produce high quality marketing materials and handle mountains of paperwork involved in the real estate transactions. Thanks to our very capable team, especially my husband, we continue to be on the leading edge of real estate! .
I have always been entreprenurial in spirit. As a teenager I started a successful sewing business and later became a director in Mary Kay Cosmetics. Pausing my career to raise our children, I remained involved in a number of charities and fundraisers. After our children left for college, I started a successful landscaping business and eventually turned to real estate, which I now enjoy very much. I have been lucky to build a wonderful team that helps me provide the utmost service to my customers. Our dedication to customer service and satisfaction has helped propel our team to the top of the OKC metro area real estate market!
I find it important to stay up to date on all the latest computer technology. With the help of my husband, I am one of the most automated agents in the marketplace. My team includes a web developer, graphic designer, video specialist and a full-time assistant dedicated to keeping our business on the cutting edge. This allows me to keep in touch with my clients regardless of where we are and to better serve their needs quickly and efficiently. We were the first realtor in the OKC Metro area to fully integrate the MLS into our web site. This allows you to easily search homes on my web site and then forward them to me so I can set up showings and keep you informed as to new homes on the market that meet your criteria. Automation allows me and my team to provide outstanding customer service and keep in close contact with our customers.
